Y.E.T.I. is gearing up for the spring school year by hiring outdoor Educators to help facilitate their programs. We aim to provide young people with opportunities to connect with nature and develop outdoor skills. The Educators we are hiring will be responsible for leading groups of students on outdoor excursions, teaching them about the natural environment, and helping them develop important life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience. We are looking for candidates with a passion for the outdoors and experience working with youth. Part Time Outdoor Instructor
Outdoor Instructors support Y.E.T.I. programs afterschool, on weekends. our activities such as Hiking, Biking, rock climbing, Camping, kayaking and more! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outdoor recreation and a passion for teaching others. They will be responsible for leading groups of high school and middle schoolers. Strong candidates will have experience in youth-based outdoor programs, a passion for connecting young people to the natural world, the ability to build and maintain emotionally safe learning environments, experience working with diverse student groups, sound instructional skills, and a proven record of judgment and decision making.
When: January – early June
Roles: part time instructors for 12 hours a week
Availability : 1 -2 weekdays 12:00-6:00pm and or 1 weekend day
