Y.E.T.I. is gearing up for the 2024-2025 school year by hiring outdoor Educators to help facilitate their programs. We aim to provide young people with opportunities to connect with nature and develop outdoor skills. The Educators we are hiring will be responsible for leading groups of students on outdoor excursions, teaching them about the natural environment, and helping them develop important life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience. We are looking for candidates with a passion for the outdoors and experience working with youth. This is a great opportunity for those who want to share their love of nature and make a positive impact on the next generation.
Part Time - Outdoor Instructor
Our field instructors work with different student populations from public schools and community partners to facilitate adventures and support Y.E.T.I. operations. Strong candidates will have experience in youth-based outdoor programs, a passion for connecting young people to the natural world, the ability to build and maintain emotionally safe learning environments, experience working with diverse student groups, sound instructional skills, and a proven record of judgment and decision making.
- When: Now – June 9th 2025
- Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday 23 hours per week.
- Benefits: This position is a seasonal hourly role with a pay range of $20-$30/hour depending on experience.
