A Day at Marine View Park

One of Renee’s favorite places for Y.E.T.I. trips, as one of Y.E.T.I.’s Program Coordinators, has quickly become Marine View Park. It’s a little hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest, with a mossy forest that leads down a steep trail to a long, rocky beach. Last Thursday, the Glacier Middle School Y.E.T.I. Club was lucky enough to experience low tide, and it was such an adventure!

They spent the whole time digging up fascinating creatures, getting squirted in the face by mysterious animals hiding in the sand, and wading in the cool ocean water. One student, so skilled at blending into the forest, jump-scared Renee five times during the short hike back up to the van. It was a day filled with laughter and excitement!

The club was so engaged, exploring the tide pools and just having a blast outside.
