Rick Corlett

Rick is a Washington native that was fortunate to have grown up in a family that focused the summer months camping out at our beautiful lakes and rivers here in the Central Cascades. These childhood camping trips with his family evolved into backpacking with friends and later taking his own kids on outdoor adventures. He realizes that not everyone has the same passions as his parents do and the thought that there are children in the community that would love to go on a hike or try snowshoeing but don't have the means compelled him to volunteer with Y.E.T.I as a lead guide. He loves hiking and backpacking in the Cascades and some of his favorites are The Enchantments, Wonderland Trail, climbing Mt Adams, having lunch at Camp Muir while taking in the view of the Tatoosh Range, and he always enjoys a hike through Maple Pass Loop in the fall. If he isn’t out hiking then you can usually find him on his mountain bike at Tiger Mountain, Raging River or Duthie. He also loves to get out on the water sailing, kayaking, or just walking along the shore.

Activities:

mountain biking, backpacking, hiking, snowshoeing, sailing, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, paddling, and camping in their Westfalia
